Yoga of Dragons Yoga Classes

Most classes start with connecting to our breath and body before starting to build some heat and awareness, activating the muscles and movements that will guide us to explorations of more challenging poses/ flows to play with. After that we take some counter-poses and stretch out the areas we’ve been working before reconnecting with the breath and settling down for the real work of letting go…come and join me!
Part of the inspiration behind ‘yoga of dragons’ is that dragons not only like to fly and be generally spectacular (which we cover through acroyoga’s more acrobatic side), but they have a fire in the core, deep inner strength, stability and their movements flow with ease and grace. They also know how to deeply relax. Our yoga classes aim to coax and cultivate our inner dragons :). Long time practitioner and acroyoga teacher, Sam completed her training with Yoga Like Water, (affiliated with the Independent Yoga Network). The course was an amazing exploration and learning experience covering all facets of yoga and beyond from a vast array of experienced yoga, movement, meditation and therapy leaders. We love sharing what we learn!
